Mission

Connections for Life provides female returning citizens with a twelve-month reentry program. Program services include housing, transportation, clothing, food, job readiness, job placement, family reunification, coordination of medical and mental health care, mentoring, recovery services, financial literacy and intensive case management.

All Programs

The Connections for Life thrift store assists with much-needed funding for the program. We serve Baton Rouge and the surrounding community by providing low-cost clothing and household items. Donate It’s always a great time to donate. Men’s, women’s and children’s clothing; jewelry; household items; furniture; autos; and monetary contributions. It’s a great way to recycle your unused items for a good cause. Your donations are tax-deductible. Volunteer Volunteers are the heart of our organization. It’s a great way to work with the women in our program. There is no end to the ways you can contribute – tagging items, unloading merchandise, sorting donations and more. Shop We have almost everything at bargain prices. Buying thrift is a fun way to shop and a great way to save money, plus it’s for a great cause.
